We participate in several scholarship programs throughout
the year. We’ll post them on this page when they’re

This scholarship program is for CCSEFCU members only. Students may join the credit union and then apply. All students in the Cecil County Public School System, Tome School, and Tri-State Academy are eligible for membership.
Guidelines: for upcoming college students. To enter‚ the student must:

- be and/or become a member of CCSEFCU
- be a high school senior
- have a GPA of 2.5 or above
- submit a two page double-spaced essay on the topic: "As a credit union member,
explain why someone should choose a credit union as their primary financial
institution over alternative service providers, such as for-profit banks"
2017 Scholarship Winner

Joshua Szep, a senior
at Salesianum School
(“Sallies”) and longtime
member of the Credit
Union. This fall, Josh
will be attending the University of Maryland
at College Park, where he plans on majoring in
mechanical engineering. The Credit Union’s
board and staff congratulate Mr. Szep and wish
him much success in his future endeavors.
